“Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth.”

The title is a quote from Buddha. He speaks true words there.
It is still strange for me to be here. I didn't think I was coming back, yet here I am. I am sleeping on a bunk and walking to the store to get Tim Tams. I can not believe it. I am here when a huge earthquake shakes the South Island. I am calling my parents on skype. While it is strange, it is also home. Most of our team is here, except for one.
Here is a thought on this fine, chilly morning.
I am reading from Psalm 4:6
It says: Many are asking, "Who can show us any good?" Let the light of your face shine upon us, O Lord.
It gives me a picture of the moon. The moon gives us light in the darkness because the sun shines upon it. I want to be like the moon. I want to reflect God's goodness to those around me. Whether I show this with hard work and dedication, or being kind when I could be horrid. This is my biggest prayer in life. Whether I am in Tulsa serving coffee or here in New Zealand backpacking. Time is too short to waste not showing others how He has changed us and shown us love. We are to pass it on, so let's.
