was it all just a dream?

Having been back for two weeks, it truly seems as if the last 5.5 months was just a dream. Did I really see all that I did, or meet the incredible people that changed my life?
I was over the Pacific Ocean in a small, but incredibly beautiful country. I climbed the most amazing rocks in a land known in movies as Narnia.
Doing a school with YWAM is by far the best thing I have ever done in my life. I would do again in a heartbeat. I plan on staffing one someday. I mean, why not? See amazing new cultures, meet new people, and have the support of friends that just want to share what God has done for each of us. Why should I be fearful to share the goodness of Christ in my life? I share with others how much I love my friends or rock climbing or college!
Basically, life is awesome. I want to have new adventures for the rest of my life. I want to make new stories everyday. I want to go and do and be.
Being back is like coming home after an amazing concert. You wish you could hear that music for the rest of your life, but you must listen to the sounds of everyday. You have to search harder for the music that inspires you. If that makes since.
I will not be content. I will always experience new things. This is my life and I plan on making it something exciting.

time to fly home...

Hello friends and family,

Time always amazes me by how fast it goes by. I graduated from my school and have since said goodbye to people I may never see again. That is one of those things that you deal with in life, but knowing it does not make it any easier. I have had the wonderful privilege of traveling and showing my mom this beautiful country. I also got to rock climb a bit, which was amazing. It was a great time to relax, enjoy the company of those around, and climb hard.

"Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened."
Dr. Seuss

I am so thankful for the opportunity to have seen and done what I have. I hope this isn't the last time I step out (with YWAM), but for now home is calling me...
