Music is what feelings sound like...

If I could write like a specific person it would be Donald Miller. His words always speak to me. I feel like I am sitting with him over coffee, chatting, when I read his books.
If you and I were sitting at coffee right now, we might talk about music; how music touches us as human to the very depths of our souls and spirits. It makes people come alive.
Music shows me there is a God. It makes me feel I have a purpose on this Earth. That it is no accident I am here. How can we listen to music and not believe? Granted, there is some music that does not move me, but even still, I love it.
When I go for coffee I want to get deep. I want to talk about such things. I want to be real.
So go get coffee with an old friend or new friend, share your hearts, and let the caffeine and good conversation take you away.

I am listening to A Fine Frenzy on grooveshark.com, so good!

You Picked Me

One, two, three
Counting out the signs we see
The tall buildings
Fading in the distance
Only dots on a map
Four, five, six
The two of us a perfect fit
You're all mine, all mine

And all I can say
Is you blow me away

Like an apple on a tree
Hiding out behind the leaves
I was difficult to reach
But you picked me
Like a shell upon a beach
Just another pretty piece
I was difficult to see
But you picked me
Yeah you picked me

So softly
Rain against the windows
And the strong coffee
Warming up my fingers
In this fisherman's house
You got me
Searched the sand
And climbed the tree
And brought me back down

And all I can say
Is you blow me away
